The MBA Mentoring programme at Âé¶¹Íø Business School connects current Âé¶¹Íø MBA students to esteemed alumni of QBS to shape the next generation of leaders in Northern Ireland and beyond.

As an MBA student, this mentoring opportunity will allow you to:
- Get real-world perspective on career paths and opportunities from senior, experienced alumni
- Access practical guidance on recruitment processes, interviews, and employer expectations
- Gain sector-specific insight to make informed decisions
- Build your self-awareness: understand your leadership style, strengths, and areas for development
- Set ambitious, achievable goals utilising expert counsel
- Make long-term connections in the industry you are interested in
Expectations
- Each mentoring relationship lasts for 12 weeks - between March and May 2026.
- MBA students are matched with MBA mentors by our team.
- Each partnership meets at least five times throughout the programme, either virtually or in-person.
- Participants adhere to expected roles and responsibilities, as outlined in the MBA Mentoring handbook.
- Each partnership uses shared materials to set clear goals, guide actions, and track progress.
Timeline
- Applications open for MBA students: Wednesday 7 January 2026
- Applications close: Friday 6 February 2026
- Match confirmation sent: By Tuesday 24 February 2026
- Welcome event: Wednesday 4 March 2026
- Mentoring period: Between March and May 2026
- Celebration event: Wednesday 27 May 2026
