Queen’s Business School signs Agreement with Harbin University of Science and Technology
Queen’s Business School has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Harbin University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, providing students with the opportunity for post-graduate study at Queen’s. Â
students will have the opportunity to apply for ten Masters level programmes spanning accounting, management, finance, marketing, and international business at Queen’s Business School. HUST is a multidisciplinary, leading national university in the Heilongjiang Province, northeastern China.
The MoA was signed by the President of HUST, Mr Liu Xia and Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at Queen’s, Professor Margaret Topping, during a recent visit by a delegation from HUST, their first to Northern Ireland.
Professor Margaret Topping, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at Queen’s said: “Queen’s was delighted to welcome the delegation from the Harbin University of Science and Technology to Belfast to sign this Memorandum of Agreement with Queen’s Business School, initiating a strategic collaboration of academic exchange and paving the way for future joint endeavours. We look forward to welcoming the first cohort of students in the near future.”
Dr Alex Wilson, Director of Internationalisation at Queen’s Business School commented: “This agreement marks a major development for our two institutions. HUST students can now pursue an exciting programme of study with two years at HUST and one year at our Business School across a range of business subjects. We are honoured to collaborate with HUST in this way to develop a new generation of capable and effective managers through postgraduate study.”
