Hear from Paul, a QUB alumnus, as he talks about his current career, and what advice he would give to current students, including:
“Start looking early to understand your pathway into law - chat with people, network and get involved! Even as early as your second year of University, start putting the feelers out and seek vacation schemes or internships because a lot of the time what counts is getting your face known by firms!
Extracurriculars are very important if you can take something from them that applies to the world of work. For example, if you play in a football team and can explain how that’s helped develop your leadership or teamwork skills, then that’s when extracurricular activities become really important!”
