Queen’s academic appointed to UK Government Evaluation and Trial Advice Panel
Dr Adewale Adenuga from the School of Biological Sciences has been appointed to the UK Government’s Evaluation and Trial Advice Panel (ETAP), an advisory group supporting the design and delivery of robust policy evaluations across government.
The is hosted by the Cabinet Office as part of the , a joint initiative with HM Treasury that promotes the use of robust evidence in government decision-making. Bringing together experts from academia, government and external organisations, the panel supports in designing and delivering robust evaluations and trials to improve policy effectiveness and public spending outcomes.
Dr Adenuga joins the panel in March 2026 for an initial two-year term, with the possibility of a one-year extension. The appointment reflects his expertise in quantitative impact evaluation and behavioural policy analysis, particularly in environmental and agricultural systems.
