School of mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Student Caitlin McColgan, Awarded Naughton Scholarship.
The programme was established in 2008 to promote the study of engineering, science and technology. Each year a number of exceptional students are awarded scholarships to study at undergraduate level at any publicly funded university or third-level institution in Ireland. Caitlin McColgan who was educated at Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana, Co. Donegal was awarded a scholarship in 2018 and recently commenced her MEng degree programme in Aerospace Engineering at the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queens. The scholarship is aimed at encouraging exceptional students who intend to study in the STEM field and who will become future leaders in their field.
