About the School
Welcome to the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

 

About Us

The School has over 100 staff who support our students including academics, researchers, professional services and technical teams.

The School has strong links with industry in the form of collaborative projects and student placements. The curriculum is heavily informed by industry representatives who sit on the industrial advisory board within the School.

Our Students

Students from around the globe choose our School for its innovative, hands-on teaching practices and the opportunity to learn from research-driven lecturers who are experts in their fields.

With 15 degree programmes, our vibrant School community includes approximately 800 students and we aim to provide an exceptional educational experience across both undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels. Our postgraduate research students benefit from the extensive knowledge and expertise of our academic staff on a wide range of research projects.
