Green Transitional Justice: Book Launch (16:00-17:00) and Roundtable (15:00-16:00) in the Moot Court (MST.02.006) and online

From 16:00 - 17:00 on 6th June, the School of Law will host the launch of Green Transitional Justice, authored by Rachel Killean and Lauren Dempster and to be published by Routledge in June 2025. This book examines the often-overlooked nexus between transitional justice and conflict-related environmental harm. It analyses the limitations of transitional justice that have resulted in a marginalisation of Nature in the field and proposes a framework for a ‘greener’ transitional justice. The launch will be preceded by a roundtable (15:00-16:00) in which Dr Juneseo Hwang (Hamburg University), Dr Peter Doran (QUB) and Dr Pinar Dinç (Lund University) will join Rachel and Lauren for a discussion on the theme of green transitional justice.
