Overview
This distinctive dual MSc is designed for the future of global business, where competitive advantage increasingly depends on data, automation and the responsible adoption of AI. Over just 18 months, students earn two master’s degrees—an MSc in Global Business from Queen’s University Belfast and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Business Innovation from Northeastern University London. Based in London, a global hub for technology, commerce and policymaking, the programme places students at the intersection of AI and global business leadership.
The curriculum is fully integrated to bridge AI implementation with strategic business thinking ready for the global business environment. Delivered as a partnership between Queen’s University Belfast, a member of the Russell Group, and Northeastern University, the programme brings the best of both institutions directly to London. Students benefit from the expertise of both institutions, learning from faculty who specialise across business and AI disciplines.
The learning experience is immersive and intensive, built around focused block teaching that allows deep engagement with each subject area. Assessment is predominantly coursework-based, including projects, case studies, presentations and applied analytical work—an approach aligned with the realities of professional decision-making environments. Throughout the programme, students receive personalised academic support through small classes, direct access to expert faculty and tailored guidance.
Graduates emerge prepared for leadership roles at the intersection of AI, innovation and global business, equipped to shape the organisations and industries of the future.

Joint Dissertation Project (Jointly supervised and assessed by both institutions)
This dual master’s integrates artificial intelligence with global business within a single academic programme. You will examine how AI systems are developed, evaluated and implemented, and how they operate within contemporary international markets and regulatory environments. Ethical reasoning and responsible innovation are embedded throughout the curriculum. You will analyse how artificial intelligence reshapes competitive advantage, organisational design and cross-border operations, developing the ability to operate across both technical and strategic domains.
The In-the-Field Experiential Project places you within a real organisational context, working on live AI and business challenges. This course enables you to apply programme concepts in practice, integrating strategic analysis with AI implementation.
Your studies culminate in a substantial, jointly supervised dissertation. This independent project requires you to address an AI-enabled international business challenge, integrating business strategy and AI implementation within a single piece of work. The dissertation demonstrates advanced analytical, methodological and interdisciplinary capability, bringing together the programme’s technical, strategic and governance dimensions.
