190 Years School of Medicine

Supporting Medical Students at Â鶹Íø

For 190 years, Queen’s has educated thousands of medical professionals who have gone on to change lives.

We’re all aware of the significant financial demands that come with studying medicine, and we want to help students who have the ability and ambition to succeed but may not have sufficient financial support to complete the degree.

To mark this extraordinary anniversary, we would love your support to help support our students navigate those costs. Any amount can help ensure that financial circumstance doesn't stand in the way of medical ambition and will support our students to pay more anything from their first stethoscope to a set of scrubs.

I am so grateful to receive ?150 from the student support fund. There are so many hidden costs in Medicine such as travel to placement and equipment. This money will help ease some financial stress.

Rachel Megarry, a Â鶹Íø Medical student, shares how much your support has meant to her. She explains that the rising cost of rent, utilities, and food has made student life increasingly difficult. On top of that, her demanding timetable leaves little room to take on a part-time job. Thanks to your donations, she¡¯s been able to focus more on her studies without the constant stress of trying to make ends meet.
