Oscar Gonzales, MBA, PhD
Managing Partner

Dr. Oscar Gonzales is the founder of the Gonzales Group. Oscar founded the Gonzales Group in 2003 providing Multicultural Markets business and strategic solutions to organizations in the real estate and financial services community who are developing or upgrading their Multicultural Markets programs.

Oscar is a nationally known speaker & author on Multicultural Markets and their impact on real estate trends, affordable housing, consumer behavior, and business modeling and planning. His comments have been published in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and The Kiplinger Letter, as well as in multiple business and real estate journals.

Oscar has his BBA in accounting from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, his MBA in International Business from the University of Phoenix, and his PhD in Business Administration from Washington University.

Dan Carrillo
Managing Partner

Dan Carrillo's 30-year career in the real estate and housing industry is filled with a broad range of experiences and leadership roles that add great value to the Gonzales Group. In the residential brokerage community, Dan's experience with successful real estate firms as an executive, sales manager, trainer, business development expert and director of relocation and corporate services bring a unique mixture of talent and expertise to Gonzales Group clients.

His leadership role in the industry is based on a firm foundation in organized real estate, as a long-term state director of the California Association of Realtors and long time member of the National Association Realtors. His focus on strategic planning and issues related to sustainable homeownership, bank foreclosures, emerging markets, e-commerce and work force mobility translate in his leadership roles as a founding board member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, consultant to the Sacramento Home Loan Counseling Center, member of the World Wide Employee Relocation Council, member of Fannie Mae's Western Region REO Broker Advisor and member of the Lending Tree/Realestate.com Broker advisory council.

His current role as board member of the Wescom Credit Union Holdings Board, the 12th largest credit union in the US and Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) is indicative of his broad knowledge and participation in the growing credit union movement. This broad-based background is matched with his passion and dedication to the Multicultural Markets and a holistic approach to the housing and financial services industry.

Antonio Valdez
Managing Partner

Antonio Valdez brings a wealth of strategic planning and execution to the Gonzales Group. Antonio is an accomplished leader with proven results in targeting the Multicultural markets for the newspaper and real estate and financial services industries.

Previously, Antonio led the responsibility of Wholesale Home Equity for Wells Fargo where he was responsible for funded volumes through influencing the Wells Fargo Wholesale Account Executive sales force, while simultaneously developing a dedicated home equity sales force model. This included creating a value proposition for new hires, developing a sales process, managing the "on boarding" process, improving training, hiring of over 150 mortgage prime Account executives, while hitting profitability goals.

In addition, Antonio led the responsibility for the development and implementation of Multicultural marketing strategies and tactics at Countrywide Financial to increase loan production among the U.S. Multicultural homebuyer. He led cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams that included Brand Strategy, promotions, media, direct and event marketing and was responsible for the development of Countrywide's Spanish-language website, minority recruitment strategies and public relations.

Prior to joining Countrywide, Valdez was Market Research Manager for La Opinión, the country's leading Spanish-language newspaper.
