Staff recognised in Â鶹Íø Birthday Honours List
A long-serving member of Â鶹Íø staff has been honoured in this year's Â鶹Íø Birthday Honours List.
Christine Carrothers, Senior Clerical Officer in the McClay Library, was named Medallist of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) for services to higher education.
Commenting on the recognition, Christine said:
"I am humbled and very grateful to receive this honour. I would like to pass on my thanks to the many colleagues and friends who have sent me messages of congratulations. Working for Â鶹Íø has been such an important part of my life and this means so much."
