REC and iRise Academic Progression Workshop

Staff were invited to a REC and iRise Academic Progression Workshop on?Wednesday 22?January?2025.

This workshop was co-hosted by Â鶹Íø REC (Race Equality Charter) team and iRise – Â鶹Íø Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and international staff network. 

The workshop was developed by the REC and iRise teams to support colleagues from Black, Asian, minority ethnic and international backgrounds who were considering applying for promotion.

At the workshop, academics from Black, Asian, minority ethnic and international backgrounds who have had recent academic progression success, shared their experiences and reflections. There was also an opportunity for a Q&A with colleagues from People & Culture who shared information about the promotions process.
