Dr Anna Jurek-Loughrey
School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer ScienceAnna’s research interest span several sub-fields of data science including theoretical and applied machine learning, data mining and natural language processing. In particular she is interested in three topics: (1) Application of machine learning in biology and medicine; (2) Creating automated solutions for online fake news detection and verification; (3) Integration and analysis of heterogeneous data (entity resolution, record linkage).
