SAEL have established an annual symposium, around the theme of women and research in the Humanities. The symposium will include plenary lectures from distinguished visitors which reflect on the issues of women in both artistic and research careers. The day will also feature short papers by women PhD students and Postdoctoral Researchers from across the range of disciplines represented in AEL.
