The Leadership and Management Framework is a tool to help support our leaders at all levels understand what β€œLeading at Queen’s” looks like It has been co-created by Academics and Professional Services colleagues and identifies the key areas of leadership activity at ΒιΆΉΝψ.

MY LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK

Pie Chart My Leadership Framework

The Framework is based on five key areas of leadership activity on 4 levels (see 'Leadership starts with you'), giving us a common language to talk about leadership in ΒιΆΉΝψ at all levels.

Each area of leadership contains a number of descriptors of what leaders do (the key responsibilities) and how they do it (key behaviours). You will notice that the constant thread running through all the areas is Living the Values, allowing you to reflect on how you demonstrate our in practice.

Above all, it is personal – it gives you, through the self assessment tool, the opportunity to assess how you are practising leadership in your everyday work, enabling you to have a conversation with your manager about building on your strengths to help you carry out your role effectively and prepare you for future roles.
