Watch as students take part in a variety of exciting activities organized by their respective schools. A memorable dinner gala at the stunning Belfast City Hall was one of the key highlights, warmly received by all. During their stay, students savored local cuisine and explored Northern Ireland¡¯s iconic attractions, including the breathtaking Giant¡¯s Causeway and the world-famous Game of Thrones studios. It was truly an unforgettable summer in Belfast!

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- The EPS Summer School is open to student who are currently undertaking or have recently completed an undergraduate degree in a subject relevant to their chosen programme. Postgraduate students are welcome to apply; however, they should be aware that the programme content is designed at an undergraduate level and may not provide the level of complexity they require.

The summer school is delivered in English, so we expect students to have good written and spoken English skills to fully participate in their chosen programme.
FEES
The deadline for payment is Wednesday 6 May 2026.
TUITION FEES
The tuition fee includes full tuition, field trips and social events as well as complimentary airport pick up and drop off. We are offering an early confirmation award of £150 discount off the tuition fee for payment received in full by the appropriate deadline.

ACCOMMODATION FEES
The accommodation fee includes 21 nights in Queen’s accommodation and will be available from Friday 18 July to Saturday 8 August 2026. If you plan to stay with us in Belfast a few extra days, additional nights can be purchased.

Accommodation
Your accommodation will be provided throughout the program at Queen¡¯s Accommodation, Elms BT9.
Elms BT9 is a purpose-built student village just a 15-minute walk from Queen’s campus. Situated in a residential area, each student will have their own ensuite bedroom while sharing a common room and kitchen with fellow summer school participants.
The village features the Treehouse, the central social hub for residents, complete with a coffee bar, snooker and pool tables, table tennis, a TV lounge, a games and karaoke room, as well as computers and high-speed internet. Recently refurbished, the Treehouse is an ideal spot to relax and socialise with friends during the summer school.
You'll enjoy living in a vibrant student community, with the lively nightlife of Queen’s Quarter right at your doorstep. Additionally, there’s a self-service laundry facility on-site, equipped with washing machines, dryers, irons, and ironing boards for your convenience.

Once you have been notified of successful application you will be asked to make the full payment and provide your passport details. Once we are in receipt of the full payment we will arrange your visa support letter. We plan to issue visa support letters mid-May, giving students about two months to apply for their visas. This timeline should allow students sufficient time to prepare for their arrival at Queen’s.

"The moment I got on the shuttle bus, I felt a strong sense of loss. Belfast is one of the best city I have ever been to. I still remember the sunny afternoon when I held a video chat with my family. Walking on the peaceful street without any destination, I was fully surrounded by the light fresh air.
"Besides the lovely city, Queen¡¯s university also brought me a fresh view of learning. Within the four-week summer school, Analog electronics and JAVA lessons were taken to us. Actually, it was somehow a challenge for we Chinese students to catch up with teachers at the beginning. However, it was so kind of Queen¡¯s university to prepare several teaching assistants and I could feel the teacher slowed down his teaching process on purpose. We came here and stayed for 4 weeks, and we really learned something which can be very useful in our domestic study. By the way, I really enjoy the dormitory and the careful service.

QUEEN¡¯S LOYALTY SCHOLARSHIP
Students who have attended the EPS Summer School who return to an undergraduate programme via one of our collaboration models or a full-time postgraduate taught programme, receive a 20% tuition fee reduction on first year of study. Exclusions apply; - 20% tuition fee reduction on year 1 - Application necessary -Queen¡¯s Loyalty Scholarship can only be used once and cannot be used in conjunction with other scholarships.
